Charles F. Bauman, 89, of 504 4th Ave. N.E., died at his home this morning, Friday, July 27, of complications of old age. He had been ill for several months. He was born March 14, 1873, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bauman of Otisco township and attended the rural Otisco township schools. He retired from farming and moved to Waseca in 1932. In 1893 he married Bertha Schultz of Otisco. His wife, and six of their children, Mrs. A. J. (Elsie) Anderson, Henry Bauman, R. 1, and Mrs. John (Esther) Dierks, all of Waseca; Mrs. E. W. (Alfrieda) Tollin, Detroit Lakes, George Bauman, Otisco and Clem Bauman, Waseca and one sister, Mrs. Clara Bartels, Minneapolis, survive him. One son, Art died in 1950 and one daughter, Clara died in 1932. Funeral services will be held Mon¬day, July 30 at the St. John Lutheran church with the Reverend Polesky, Meriden, officiating at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Woodville cemetery. Visitation may be made at the Pfaff Funeral Home starting at 2 p.m. Sunday and Sunday evening. The casket will remain open prior to the service from about 1 p.m.
