"Maggie Mae Brown, age 68, died Monday, October 16, 1995 in Wellington.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 19, at the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Elder A.T. Anderson of the Church of God in Christ and Rev. Kevin Parker, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She was born September 27, 1927 in Paris to Robert and Laura Bell White. She came to Wellington in 1945 and married Henry Brown on March 8, 1954 in Childress. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was a retired nurses aide for Thomas Nursing Home. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Celia Brown of Wellington; two sons, Gary Brown of Wellington and Danny Brown of Amarillo; two brothers, Ivory White of Paris and John White of Tucson, AZ; three sisters, Geneva Wallace of Paris; Nita Vinson of Amarillo, and Ruby White of Wellington; 8 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren."
