Our beloved Irene Day Feulner, having lived three centuries, passed away peacefully on Nov 22, 2000 at her home in West Valley City.

She was 103, the same age at which her mother passed away. Born in Hunter, now West Valley City, Nov 20, 1897 to Larenzo and Elizabeth Jane Russell Day. Graduated Hunter Elemtary now Whittier, and Grainte High School.

Married Emil Feulner on May 21, 1919 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lifelong resident of Hunter where they owned Alalfa Ridge Farm and fruit orchards. He died Aug 18, 1974. Irene maintained an interest in homemaking, gardening,community beautification , cultural and current events, travel, crafts, family heritage and Hunter History. Member of the Flora Culture Club, Magna Garden Club,Utah Assocatied Garden Clubs, captain of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Elderado Camp,and president of the Whittier PTA. As a member of the LDS Church she served as President of the Primary,Counseler in the MIA, Releif Society class leader and visiting teacher.

Survived by her children Mrs.Marian Christensen(Bearnard),Provo, Milton ( Lorna) Feulner, Stanley(Shirley ) Feunler, and Norman (Betty) Feulner all
Of Holladay, June (Don) Krambule, Ogdgen, Donna Mae (Clarence) Hulet,Spanish Fork, and Marlene(Charles) Norcross Magna Utah.

She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, parents , brother and sisters. H. Earl (Gladys ) day, Ezra (Reta) Day, Lavina (Ernest) Neilson, Etta (Eugene) Ridd and three grandchildren


Throughout my life driving down 3500 south, you always knew where Aunt Irene home was by the charming white picket fence and all the beautiful Iris.
