Flora Harness age 92, formerly of Scott County departed this life on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at TenNova Hospital in Lafollette, TN. Born in Scott County on December 12, 1919 to Lindsay and Florence Wilson Harness. She was a member of the Bull Creek Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents Lindsey and Florence Wilson Harness; two brothers Virgil Harness and wife Mae, Melvin Harness and wife Emiline; three sisters Ethel and husband Roosevelt Harness, Ardilla and husband Walter Harness, and Cordelia and husband Alonzo Harness.
Survived by two sisters Macel Strunk of LaFollette, TN and Cassie Harness of Temple Georgia; several nieces and nephews; one aunt, Mae Gibson; and many other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Harness family on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 12:00 (noon) until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Brother Carlie Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the Botts Cemetery.
