William R. Foose, 72, a retired employe of Taylor Wharton Iron and Steel Company, was found dead in bed about 7 o'clock this morning at his home, 547 West Wilkes Barre St.
Mr. Foose retired about two years ago from his job with the steel company after 26 years of service. He worked in the cylinder department of the Easton plant.
Born in Redington, May 4, 1880, he was a son of the late John* and Christiana Smith Foose. In former years he was employed as a pipefitter in the Lehigh Valley Railroad shops here. He was of the Methodist faith.
