He was born Sept. 23,1903,in Fayette and was a lifetime resident of that area. He attended Fayette Public School and was of Catholic faith.
Mr. Rochefort was employed as a woodsman and commercial fisherman.
Survivors include; two sisters,Mrs. Angeline Robere of Manistique and Mrs. Eva Duffy of Aberdeen,Wash. and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Messier-Broullire Funeral Home in Garden from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Hinks Cemetery Fayette.
