Myrna was born on December 28, 1931 in Madison County, Kentucky to the late Joseph Ellis and Hallie Smith Pitts. She retired from Parker Seal Company and was co-owner of the former Johnson Farm Supply. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Myrna was also preceded in death by her husband Alfred Johnson, her son Jerry Johnson and two sisters Faye Fain and Lorhum Rose.
She is survived by her daughter Linda (Jack) Alcorn of Berea, one brother Junior (Gladys) Pitts, daughter-in-law Marsha Johnson, three grandchildren Mark (Jocie) Alcorn, Shelley VanWinkle and Marshall (Tiffany) Johnson and 4 great grandchildren Tyler Shane Alcorn, Jacob Michael Alcorn, Clarissa Taylor Moberly, Brian Alexander Johnson and her dog Buster Brown.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday June 1st at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-9 pm at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be Joe Fain, Jimmy Fain, Lloyd Fain, Oscar Fain, Marshall Johnson and Mark Alcorn. Honorary bearers will be all her friends from the former Johnson Farm Supply.
