AHLSTROM - Miss Adele Elizabeth 75, of Laurel Crest Manor in Ebensburg, formerly of St. Benedict, died Nov 17, 1984 at Miners Hospital in Spangler. Born July 31, 1909 in St.Benedict, daughter of the late John & Anna Louisa Ahlstrom. Preceded in death by brothers, Vern, Anthon & Edmund, and sisters, Theresa, Olga & Wilma. Survived by nieces, Mrs. Karen Stickler of Conemaugh, Mrs. Mary Schanber of Park Forest, IL, Miss Phyllis Ahlstrom of Pittsburgh & Mrs Adele Ann Saltzer of McKeesport. Retired registered nurse from Pennsylvania Nursing Association in Harrisurg, having taught for 15yrs at the Univ of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. Friends will be received at Long Funeral HOme in Barnesboro where services will be held on Monday, the Rev.Ruth Bates will officiate. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Patton. NOTE: she also had nephews, John & Vern (dec'd) Ahlstrom and John & Donald Anderson. Additional nieces are Mrs. Edith Louise Foster & Ruth Anderson.
