Miss Inez Rivers became the wife of Andrew Lemmon at a pretty Christmas wedding solemnized at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Rivers.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. William J. Lee of South Methodist Church and the bride was attended by her sister, Miss Ivy Rivers, while the groom had for his best man, Harry Lemmon, his brother.
Lemmon is a veteran of the world war and saw active service in the Meuse Argonne offensive, where he was slightly gassed. Mrs. Lemmon is a graduate of the Chico Normal school and has been teaching at Rackerby for the past two years. About thirty friends and relatives were present at the wedding and many beautiful gifts were presented to Mr. and Mrs. Lemmon. The couple will make their home on a farm near Rackerby.
