Homer - The funeral of Mrs.Esther Chapman was held Monday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock, at the home of Mr.& Mrs. Fred Briggs, N. Main St. Mrs. Chapman died at the Cortland Hospital where she was taken three weeks ago, and has suffered from typhoid fever. She was 42 years of age. Besides her husband, she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Lina Dennison, who resides in Pennsylvania, one sister, Cora Butler of Sempronius, one brother, Levi Butler of Rochester. Rev.Horatio Yates conducted the funeral service.
