The deceased was one of the pioneers of our county, and enjoyed the admiration of all who had contact with him for his hard work and conviviality. Having landed in America, he made his home at first in North Prairie, from there he moved to Texas, and finally came to Stearns County as his permanent dwelling-place. The solemn obsequies were yesterday morning, with a large number of mourners present. To the survivors, Nordstern extends hereby its sincerest condolences. May the departed enjoy heavenly blessedness!"
