Henriette knew future husband Albert while still in Prussia. She emigrated in 1881 with her mother and brother. On the same ship were Albert's mother and sister. It is believed that Albert stayed behind to finish a mandatory hitch in the Kaiser's army. He emigrated in 1884. Henriette had 5 children, but only 3 survived to adulthood (Martha, Carl/Charles & Ella/Lenie). Although a grave marker has not been found, it has been confirmed that Henriette was buried in Pilgrims Rest, Milwaukee County. See Plot information below.
