Eleanor Stephens Neslen was born on March the 12th,1833 in Cornwell,England.She became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She married a Mr Trawela and after the Marriage to a Mr.Trawela ended,she met Robert Neslen.Eleanor fell in love with him.She Married Robert Francis Neslen on March 10th,1859 in England.They made plans to pack and travel to the United States of America.Then Eleanor,Robert and a young
daughter from Eleanor's previous marriage,sailed from Liverpool,England on the ship"Wm Topscott.This was on April 9th,1959.They traveled to the United States.Eleanor's family crossed the plains with a Company of Latter Day Saints,arriving in the Salt Lake Valley on September 15th,1859.Together Eleanor and Robert had four children before Robert began serving another Mission in Europe in 1870. Eleanor passed away on April 5th,1870 while Robert was gone;leaving five young children at home without a Mother. Eleanor was buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Eleanor's husband Robert and five children survived her.
