Annabelle Alber, Dec. 25, 1914 - Nov. 26, 2000, Annabelle ALBER, 85, Fulton, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday at Hickory Creek Health Care Center, Rochester. Born to John W. and Bertha GRAY WALTERS in Rochester Township, she married Daniel Clifford ALBER Jan. 17, 1937 in Rochester. He died Dec. 7, 1975. Mrs. Alber, a retired Caston school cook, was a member of Fletcher's Lake United Methodist Church, Ladies Aid, and of the Order of the Eastern Star, Fulton. Survivors include two granddaughters, Cindy and husband Greg POWNELL, Logansport; Karen and husband Barry CAPPER, Plymouth; three great-grandchildren, Blake POWNELL, Cameron [CAPPER] and Bailey CAPPER; one brother, Raymond WALTERS, Alton, Ill.; one son-in-law, Phillip RENTSCHLER, Macy; dear friend Clyde CASTLEMAN, Rochester. Preceding in death were one daughter, Margaret Ann RENTSCHLER, June 30, 1994, one infant daughter, Dec. 2, 1940, and one brother, Paul WALTERS. Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Fulton, with Rev. David SOMMERS officiating. Burial is at Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Fletcher's Lake United Methodist Church.
