Notes concerning date of birth: There appears to be some concern regarding his date of birth and his age at time of death. His death certificate does not include a birth date but gives an estimated age at time of death as being age 95. His headstone reads age at time of death was 97. Family records indicates his birth was 10 July 1816. I have not found a single document stating his exact or accurate date of birth. Therefore I am going to go with the headstone and alter his birth year.

Notes concerning date of birth: There appears to be some concern regarding his date of birth and his age at time of death. His death certificate does not include a birth date but gives an estimated age at time of death as being age 95. His headstone reads age at time of death was 97. Family records indicates his birth was 10 July 1816. I have not found a single document stating his exact or accurate date of birth.
