Richard Haskins: Probably born about 1660. His parents and birthplace are unknown. According to the Taunton Vital Records, Volume 11, Page 21, he married Jane Foster of Taunton on August 2, 1686 at Taunton. After her death he married Mary Tisdale; in the Land Records of Taunton is an entry "June 7, 1705. James Tisdale, in consideration of the love and affection which I bear unto my son-in-law Richard Haskins -".

He had eight children, Mercy, John, Mary, Daniel, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebecca, and Hannah. He was a weaver by trade and spent most of his life in Taunton and Dighton, Massachusetts. He died on December 26, 1717 at Norwich West Farms, as the present town of Franklin, Connecticut was then known.

He had a brother John, of whom little is known except that his wife was named Elizabeth and that he had two daughters, Elizabeth, who married a Mr. Pitts, and Sarah, who married a Mr. Gatchell.Richard Haskins of Plymouth Mass a son of William Haskins aka Hoskins & Mary Hinds of County Cork, Ireland.
