Information re: burial location and
inscription came from 2004 survey

Additional information was taken from U.S. Census enumerations for 1860 and 1870 (with implied spouse and children in Stone Mountain, DeKalb, Georgia) and 1880 (widowed, living with children in Stone Mountain.)
Another contributor has suggested that Mary's maiden name was Campbell. No sources were provided, and I could find none. Public trees on Ancestry state, without sources, that Mary was the daughter of Thomas Campbell (died circa 1835) and Amelia "Milly" Brockman (1781-1865.)
