Tony Sr. was born on November 10, 1943, in Dinuba, CA to Joe and Miqaela Pulido, both deceased. He went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 11, 2005, in Selma, CA, at age 61. Mr. Pulido served his country with distinction in Vietnam as a member of the 25th Infantry Division from July 1968 to July 1969, where he was awarded two Bronze Star medals, with V Device and Oak Leaf Cluster for heroism in combat. His military decorations include The Combat Infantry Man's Badge, The National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with four stars, The Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Cluster, Rifle Expert, Machine Gun and 81mm Mortar Expert. Mr. Pulido belonged to Sociedad de Oro, Selma Chapter #5. Mr. Pulido is survived by sons, Tony, Jr. of Selma, and Richard and his wife Patty of Fresno; daughters, Rosemary Zapata and her husband John of Selma, and Jessica Guerra and her husband Dave of Sanger; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Manuel Castro of Selma, and Joe and Ezequiel Pulido of Shafter; Pastor Rod Haro, and all members of The Vineyard Worship Center Church; and his best friend and confidant, Paul Reyna. Visitation will be at held at Vineyard Worship Center Church, in Fowler on Tuesday, March 15, 2005, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.. A Memorial Service will follow visitation. A Funeral Service will be at Vineyard Worship Center Church, 2830 E. Manning, in Fowler on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at 1:00 p.m.
