Sally Lyon (b: 16 Nov 1791 in Fairfield, Fairfield Co., CT d: 19 Aug 1878inCatharine, Schuyler Co., NY), the daughter of Isaac Lyon (b: 16 Nov 1745 in Fairfield Co., CT d: 1 Apr 1821 in Catharine, Chemung Co., NY) and Rachel Edwards(b: 26 May 1759 in Fairfield Co., CT d: 24 Sept 1815 in Catharine, Chemung (later Schuyler) Co., NY), was his wife.
Sally was the sister of Jesse Lyon and Walter Lyon.

Maxwell, Esq., for the following persons, who were engaged in the Dansville expedition, in January, 1814: Jesse Mitchell, Sergeant; Richard Hatfield; Lucy Lyon, widow of Jesse Lyon; James Husted, Sergeant; Zeviah, widow of Wm.
