Lennie Frankforter of Friend passed away Thursday, June 15, 1967, at the age of 77. He was a native of Tobias and was well known in Fillmore County. He was a Veteran of World War I, being a member of the American Legion. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by a son, Blaine of Crete; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Rebanis) Gloyd of Whittier, Cal., and Mrs. Stanley (Miriam) Weber of Friend; two brothers, George and Archie, both of Friend and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rev Donald M. Cassidy and Rev. Stanley Ganzel officiated. Interment was in Andrew Cemetery at Friend with graveside services by the American Legion.
