"The death of Mr. David Demaree occurred yesterday morning at his late residence, No. 47 Broadway, Mr. Demaree was one of the old pioneers of Quincy, coming here in 1835. He was born in Auburn, N.Y. in June, 1810, and was in his 79th year. He was an experienced millwright, which trade he followed up to fifteen years ago, since which time he has been an invalid from complication of diseases. He leaves a widow and two daughters to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and affectionate father. The funeral will take at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon."
