Marian I. Blackmore, age 91, of Fredonia, N.Y., died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at the Chautauqua County Home, after a brief illness.
Born March 26, 1919, in Clymer, N.Y., to Todd Brown and Florence Almy Brown.
Marian graduated from Clymer High School in 1935. She was the wife of Thomas G. Blackmore, who died July 1991, the couple married July 20, 1942 in New York City.
Surviving are 3 daughters, 3 grandchildren;1 great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by two sisters: Alice Brown Keith and Anna Brown Ackroyd and brothers: Lyman Brown and Jay Brown.
Mrs. Blackmore will be remembered for her gardening, her wonderful cooking, and will especially be remembered for her magnificent homemade quilts.
