MRS. BONTA BURIED HERE
Mrs. Isaac W. Bonta died at her home in Fairview, Mo., Monday, of pneumonia, following influenza. She had nursed her husband and little daughter thru an attack of influenza and then succumbed to the disease herself.
Deceased, whose maiden name was Martha Eulala Greenwell, was born in Monroe county south of Lakenan, March 15, 1878. She was married to I. W. Bonta, June 22, 1914 and died December 27, 1918.
She leaves besides her husband a little girl about 2 1/2 years of age, and these sisters and brother: Mrs. B. F. Broughton of Shelbina; Mrs. J. L. Worland of near Lakenan; Mrs. E. M. Abell of Monroe City; Mrs. Douglass Buckman and G. J. Greenwell of southeast of Shelbina.
The remains were brought here Sunday night to the home of B. F. Broughton, accompanied by the husband and G. J. Greenwell.
Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the Catholic church in this, city and burial was in the Catholic cemetery.
