Married Peter William Hamilton on 04 NOV 1873 in Missouri.

Died in Church.
Mrs. P. W. Hamilton of Lakenan had a paralytic stroke Saturday morning, and died within the hour following. She attended services at the Catholic church, and at the close, as she stood by the door chatting with friends, the fatal stroke came upon her. She had been twice paralyzed within the preceding year, so that her family were not prepared for her sudden death. A cot was procured and she was placed on this in the church. Here surrounded by her relatives she received the consolations of religion administered by Father Adrian. A doctor was summoned but reached there just before she died.
Mrs. Hamilton was about 50 years of age. Her maiden name was Greenwell. She was a consistent member of the Catholic church and found her church duties a pleasure as well as a duty.
Funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Shelbina Monday morning by Rev. Fr. Adrian, and the remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery.

A Sudden Death.
Last Saturday morning Mrs. Wm Hamilton, wife of Wm. Hamilton, died rather suddenly at the Lakenan Catholic church to which place she had gone to attend religious services. At the close of the service and while she was retiring from the bulling she complained of feeling badly. After she had gone outside her husband, noticing that she was about to fall, took hold of her and she sank down upon the walk, and expired in a few moments. Death was due to a stroke of paralysis with which she had been troubled more or less for sometime, having suffered a previous stroke more than a year ago.
The funeral took place from the Catholic Church in this city last Monday conducted by Rev. Father Adrian and the remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery.
