ROCKFORD - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ketcham funeral home for John Moody, 65, Rockford welder, who died Tuesday at the Gibbons hospital, Celina, following a heart attack suffered Monday afternoon. The Rev. Garrison Roebuck will be in charge of the services with burial in Riverside cemetery.
He was born in Mercer-co Dec. 24, 1886, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moody. He was a 25-year member of Shanes aerie FOE.
Surviving are his widow, Mary, two daughters, Jean and Shirley, both at home, his mother; two sisters, Mrs. Nelle Boise, Celina, and Mrs. Virgil Hiestand, Wabash; and three brothers, Floyd, Rockford, Lee, Rossburg, and Joe, Greenville.
