James A. Brison, 83, of Templeton, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012.

He was born March 11, 1928, in Templeton, a son of the late Edward E. Brison and Luella (Wiles) Brison.

He retired from Eljer in Ford City and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He formerly attended the Church of God in Templeton, was a past member of VFW and lifetime member of North American Hunting Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing and the outdoors in general.

Survivors include his sons, Michael (Marion) Brison, of Germany, and Mitchell Baker, of Templeton; brothers, Tom Brison, of Ohio, and Bill (Virginia) Brison, of Templeton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Brison, and five brothers.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of funeral military honors at 11 a.m. in SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning.

Interment in Tidal Cemetery.
