FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — Bradley David Liechti, 26, of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., passed away Friday, February 10, 2012.
Bradley was born on March 15, 1985 in St. Joseph to David and Susan (Ryser) Liechti.
Bradley was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army (Infantry) in the 82nd Airborne Division and a member of the American Legion Post No. 161. He worked as a Tower Repairman for Towering Engineering Professionals.
Brad loved his family and friends, and he especially loved being a daddy. He loved his dog, Kansas and everything else pertaining to the outdoors. He loved fishing, mushroom hunting, planting a garden and working in his yard. He enjoyed woodworking and created many unique pieces. Brad loved music and singing. Brad loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rosemary Ryser and paternal grandparents, Forrest and Bertha Lou Liechti.
Survivors: mother, Susan Archer (John) of St. Joseph; father, David Liechti of Wathena, Kan.; Brad's love, Rachel Campos of the home; Lydia and Blake of the home; brother, Christopher Liechti of St. Joseph; sister, Amanda Livingston (Travis Kimberlin) of Wathena, Kan.; nieces, Lauren Livingston and Alli Kimberlin; nephews, Alex Livingston and Wyatt Kimberlin; maternal grandfather, William L. Ryser (Ruth Grable) of Wathena, Kan.; uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18, at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wathena, Kan. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kan., where friends may call after 12 noon Friday. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wathena, Kan.
