It is with pronounced sadness to announce that our beloved "Mom" Teresita (Tita) Domingo David, was called to eternal rest on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at Los Robles Hospital, Thousand Oaks. Tita was born in San Jose, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, on May 19, to the late Nicasio and Emerenciana Domingo.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Ponce David. Together they raised three children, Grace Tuazon (husband Edwin), Jesse Ericho, and Jessica; grandchildren, Marc, Jasmine, Jordan, and Payton. Surviving in addition to Tita's direct family are her siblings, Nicasio Domingo, Jr., Clare Domingo and Nieves Domingo Benedicto (husband Victor); numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tita is a parishioner of Mary Star of the Sea Church, and is a member of the Ilocano Association, Phil-Center of Ventura County, Inc., Fil-Am Seniors, International Cultural Association of California, Inc., Ladies Auxiliary-Knights of Columbus, Ladies Auxiliary-Filipino Military Retired and various other Religious and Filipino Organizations. Tita retired from Honeywell Profimatics in Thousand Oaks and Robinson's May-Fine Jewelry Department in Ventura.

Tita and her husband enjoyed attending various Filipino dances where she showed off her ballroom and line dancing skills. Tita was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. She was generous with her time and energy, and was always attentive and compassionate to other's needs before her own. We deeply grieve Tita's passing but find great comfort knowing that she is resting with our Lord Jesus Christ together with our other family members who preceded her in death. Tita has left us with a tremendous legacy of profound love, happy memories, faith in God and other great examples that will continue to live in our hearts forever. We will miss her great personality, friendly smile, and honest and helpful advice and words of wisdom. Friends and family are invited to come and celebrate her life.

Visitation/vigil will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at Mary Star of the Sea Church, Oxnard, with the Holy Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, at Mary Star of the Sea Church. Burial will follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Camarillo.

Tita is entrusted under the care of All Souls Mortuary, 4400 Cherry Ave., Long Beach. Please feel free to sign the enduring memories online tribute created for Tita on All Souls Mortuary website: www.allsoulsmortuary.com/obituaries.html.
