Cecelia Villegas, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Feb. 12, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Cecelia was born in Watts, Calif., and moved to Oxnard at the age of five and remained a lifelong resident.

Preceded in death by her father, J. Morales; mother, Rebecca Konzak; grandson, George Rodarte; and niece, Leticia Telles Ganivet.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Martin Villegas; sister, Rebecca Alice (John) Cantu; brother, John (Mary) Montoya; children, Gilbert Jamie Cabral, Harry (Mona) Cabral, Rebecca Villegas, Teresa (Rudy - deceased) Ledesma and Yvonne Appel; grandchildren, Gary Cabral, Martin and Anthony Soto, Anthony Valdez, Charlette and Bridgette Ledesma, Eric, Lauren, Jordan and Morgan Appel; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and especially enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren playing sports. Her favorite activities were dancing, traveling, crocheting, knitting, sewing and volunteering at St. Anthony's school and church.

Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Rd., Camarillo. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at St. Anthony's Church, 2511 South C St., Oxnard. Burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery.
