John Fleischauer Killed

John Fleischauer, of Boulevard, was killed by an electric train last Friday, while at work for the L. I. R. R. at Melrose Park. He was employed by the railroad as an electrician and has worked there for a long time. He was a member of the Greenlawn Fire Department and at 7 P.M. Sunday the entire company in their uniforms attended services at his home. Six members of the fire company acted as pallbearers and accompanied the body to Cedar Grove Cemetery in Flushing, Were the burial took place. He leaves a wife, Emma, and a daughter, Katherine Baylis, of Richmond Hill.

Mr. Fleischauer was an exempt member of the Greenlawn Fire Department, a member of the Jr. O. U. A. M., Post 7 of Long Island City, a member of the Patriotic Sons of America, of Long Island City, and also of the Masons of the same place.
