Lakewood Citizen, August 7,1942:
"Harry Kohler, a resident of the Hyson-Harmony Road, died at the Marlboro State Hospital on Tuesday, in his seventy fifth year. He was born in Switzerland and had been in this country for fifty five years, twenty three of which was spent at his home in Jackson Township.
Mr. Kohler was paralytic, he recently wandered away from his home and was found in the woods where he had fallen during the night. He was taken to Paul Kimball Hospital in an unconscious condition.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Koller, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Fish of Union City.
Funeral service was held this morning at St Mary of the Lake Church with the Rev. John F Baldwin, rector of the church officiating. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery".
