Frances was the wife of Daniel Jacob Troxel, and the daughter of Lewis Graves and Martha Downey.

Mrs. Frances Belle Graves Troxel, widow of Dan J. Troxel, died at 4:30 o'clock Thursday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Martin Harshman of Colfax. Death was caused by heart trouble. Mrs. Troxel, who had been ill one week, had left Mulberry only a short time ago to spend the remainder of the winter with her daughter.

She was born in Monon, Ind., July 2, 1874, the daughter of Lewis and Martha Downey Graves. She married Dan Troxel on October 22, 1901. Mr. Troxel died six years ago. She was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed church here, and had lived here and in Monon all her life.

Survivors are the daughter, Mrs. Harshman, and a son, Alton C. Troxel of Gary.

The body was brought this morning to the home here, where friends may call.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the Reformed church, with Rev. Estel Odle of Colfax officiating. Burial will be in Fair Haven cemetery.
