Rufus Elvin Carroll, 76, Andalusia died there on Jan. 5, 1983. He was born in Alabama Aug. 17, 1906.
Mr. Carroll was a retired textile worker.
Funeral services were held from Foreman's Funeral Home Chapel Jan. 7, at 10 A.M. Reverebd J.T. Bush officiated at the services. Interment was in Smyrna Prinitive Baptist Cemetery in Coosa County.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Carroll, Andalusia: two daughters, one son; three sisters Lela Neighbors, Andalusia; Dixie Futral, Goodwater, Al.; Grace Burge, Atlanta, GA., there are 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbears were, Jerry Russell, Kyle Hutcheson, Larry Pittman, Huey Feagin, Joe Carroll and Randy Carroll.
