DORCHESTER -- Mrs. Ruth A. Ruprich, 61, of 247 N. Front St. died Saturday at Colonial House of Colby.

A memorial service will be Tuesday at Dorchester Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Albert Krueger is to officiate and burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at Maurina Funeral Home.

The former Ruth Herrmann was born November 16, 1919 in Colby. She graduated from Colby High School. On August 22, 1942 in Colby, she and Arnold Ruprich were married. He died October 19, 1978.

She and her husband farmed in the town of Little Black until 1956, then moved here. They also were beekeepers.

A member of Dorchester Jehovah's Witnesses, she is survived by one son, Robert of Dorchester; one sister, Mrs. Royal (Irene) Awe of Colby; three brothers, Edward of Colby, Kenneth of Gladewater, Texas, and Clinton of West Bend; and two grandchildren.
