Married 1st to Dr. William Bruce, of Bruceville, Indiana (d. 1836) and married 2nd to Jonathan Macy Nov. 23, 1837. Moved from Minonk, Illinois, where her husband was a "hotel keeper" to their son John Franklin Macy's homestead in Sterling sometime between 1874-1880. Son relocated to Beatrice, NE in 1892 and parents Jonathan & Elizabeth remained in Sterling until they departed this life.
