Canadian statesman. A native of Saint-Barnabé (Québec), he studied with the Christian Brothers in Yamachiche, at the seminary of Nicolet, at the St.Dunstan College in Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island)) and at Laval University in Montréal. He was allowed to practice as notary on October 20, 1910. He worked in Montréal until 1920, then he settled in Shawinigan. From 1912 to 1920, he served as Secretary of “Industrial Land Co of Montreal Ltd”. He founded the Association of the young notaries of the district of Montréal in 1915, then worked as secretary of this association, from1915 to 1920. He became also Secretary, in1918, and chairman , in1919, of the Letellier Liberal Club. From 1912 to 1915, he served as Secretary of the Saint-Anselme School Board, in Montréal. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly as the Liberal representative for the district of Saint-Maurice in the by-election of October 19, 1920. He was re-elected in 1923. He died in function in Berthierville.
