Agnes "Aggie" Hayes Arnette, 78, of Ladson, wife of 54 years of former Berkeley County Coroner Wade Arnette died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Oakbrook Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 1 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road, Charleston. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 o'clock at the funeral home on Monday, February 27, 2012.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, SC Chapter, Lowcountry Region, 2090 Executive Hall Road. #130, Charleston, SC 29407 or Southern Care Hospice, 9294 Medical Plaza Drive, North Charleston, SC 29406.

Mrs. Arnette was born November 19, 1933 in Dillon County, SC. She was predeceased by both her parents. She attended schools in Lexington County. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Survivors, including her husband Wade, are daughter; Myra Hollenbaugh (Randy) of Ladson, daughter in heart; Carolyn Walden (Stephan) of Summerville, son in heart; Billy Griffith (Lisa) of Turbeville, SC, grandsons; Alan Walden of Camp Lejune, NC and Brian Hollenbaugh (Nikki) of Summerville, granddaughter; Lisa Hollenbaugh (Leroy) of Summerville, sister; Clara Brown (Tom) of Canton, NC, sister in heart; Virginia Cribb of Summerville, brother Doug Hayes (June) of Spartanburg, sister in law; Ellen Herring of Aiken, many wonderful nieces and nephews and four great grandchildren.
