Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Runyon, 76, died Saturday afternoon in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beckett in Shelbina.
Mrs. Runyon, a daughter of the late Sam and Rebecca Bair, was born near Bethel. She was married to Bruce Runyon in 1902. He died in 1929.
Survivors include Mrs. Beckett, another daughter, Mrs. William Bailey of Lebanon; two sons, Harold Runyon, Bostrop, La., Carl Runyon of St. Charles; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Barkelew and Davis Funeral home in Shelbina with burial in the IOOF cemetery there. Rev. Dudley Kern officiated.
