KINGSLEY, DOROTHY CAPERTON, May 3, 2009. She was formerly of Louisville, but resided in Naples, FL. Dorothy was the daughter of Hugh John and Dorothy Bonnie Caperton. She was educated at the Louisville Collegiate School and Miss Porter's School in Farmington, CT. She was a member of the Cove Yacht Club, Naples and the River Valley Club in Louisville. She was a former member of the Louisville Country Club, Port Royal Club, Naples and the Naples Yacht Club. Mrs. Kingsley was the former mayor of Straws Point, NH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Kingsley Jr.; son, Matt Winn Williamson Jr.; and brother, Lawrence Allan Caperton. She is survived by her children, Jack Middleton, Shelley Williamson Widenhouse, Dorothy Williamson Brock; step-children, Ted Kingsley and Gail Kingsley Smitley; grandchildren, Robin Brock Trollever and Dylan Brock; brothers, John and Hugh Caperton. Dorothy and her family would like to give a special thank you to Cathy Shaw of Naples for her attention and devotion. A memorial service is planned for 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2009 in the Bower Chapel, Moorings Park, Naples with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville. In lieu of flowers, Dorothy requests contributions be made to Avow Hospice, Inc., 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105 and Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program, PO Box 55190, Lexington, KY 40555.
