Leora was united in marriage on November 8, 1969 in Rochelle, Illinois to Mr. George W. Dorion and they spent the next 22 happy years of their lives together until George's passing on December 27, 1991. Mrs. Dorion was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, traveling, and taking excursions on trains. She was a loving wife, sister, and aunt who will be missed by her family and friends, both in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Mrs. Dorion is survived by her brothers, Lee Roy (Joan) Smith of Panama City, Florida and Lee Orville (Eileen) Smith of Yuma, Arizona; her sister, Loretta (Hans) Schrake of Kenosha, Wisconsin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Leora was preceded in death by her parents, Adlaie and Laura Smith; her first husband, Ralph Clifford and then her second husband, George W. Dorion.
Services for Mrs. Dorion were held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 20, 2004 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Parkway, Yorkville, Illinois with the Pastor David Kaul, Officiating. Interment followed in the Elmwood Cemetery in Yorkville, Illinois.
