Betty B. Smith, 82, of Midland, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011. Betty was born on June 17, 1929, to Fred Bourke and Lynnie Seaver in Lewistown, Montana. She married the love of her life, John Smith, on November 14, 1948. Together they shared two daughters, Becky and Pam. Betty was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, John Smith of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by her daughters, Becky Wallis and Pam Smith of Midland, Texas; sisters, Susie Nicholson of Hobson, Montana, and Sharon Dimitch of Billings, Montana; and grandchildren, Kelly Mendez of Midland, Texas, and Jessica Freeman of Kyle, Texas. Family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10: 00 a.m., on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Fairview Cemetery.
