In 1850 they were residing in Kings County, New York and by 1870 they had already settled down in Marion County, Illinois.
Her children were: John Kinsey junior, Sarah Frances, Emma Jane, Mary Ann, Thomas and Alice Marie.
Emma died aged 91 years and Mary Ann was the informant. Her grave is shared by her husband.
Her siblings were: Mary Ann, *Malcolm, George, Margaret Atkin, John, **Frances, Jemima and **George John Oliver
