The funeral of Edward Hicks, 48, of 117 Bellevue Street, who died suddenly at his home Friday, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the L.B. Barnes Funeral Home, 2148 Main Street, with services in the Hopewell Baptist Church at 2 o'clock. Rev. Huston Crutchfield will officiate. Burial will be in Old North Cemetery.
Mr. Hicks left his wife, Estella Hicks; two sons, Charles and Edward Hicks, Jr.; a daughter, Eleanor Lee Hicks, all of Hartford; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Peoples of Newark, N.J., and Mrs. Lou Maxie Black of Hartford, and two brothers, John Hicks and William Hicks of Newark.
