He was born Jan. 21, 1917, in Beardstown, Ill., and came to Sarasota 19 years ago from Roulette, Pa. He was a roofer. He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Aleta; two stepdaughters, Twila Perry of Denison, Texas, and Roberta Snyder of Penfield, Pa.; a stepson, Jesse Roboski Jr. of Belfast, N.Y.; two sisters, Alma Walters of Arenzville, Ill., and Rosemary Floyd of Chatham, Ill.; a brother, Charles of Arenzville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Palms Memorial Park, followed by a graveside service. Burial will be in the Palms Memorial Park. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manasota Chapel, is in charge.
