Mary Ann was born about 1875 in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. She is the daughter of George W and Margaret McNally Faunce. She was probably born at 1218 E Otis Street. She was baptized at the Kensington Methodist Episcopal Church on the same day as her sister, Linda, December 3, 1878. She was living with her family at 1218 E Susquehanna Avenue when she died from Gastro Enteritis [inflammation of the stomach and small intestine] on September 4, 1891. She was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery on September 9.
