Linda Hentzelman Faunce, my 1st cousin 3x removed, was born on August 23, 1872, in Philadelphia. She is the daughter of George W and Margaret McNally Faunce. She was probably born at 1218 E Otis Street. She was baptized at the Kensington Methodist Episcopal Church on the same day as her sister, Mary Ann, December 3, 1878. Linda and her mother were living at 2037 Eleventh Street in Philadelphia in 1900. Her mother was running a boarding home while Linda was selling silks.

At the age of 40, she married Harry C. Scott. They were married in Philadelphia in 1912. In 1920, they were living in Chicago, Illinois where Charles worked as a mechanic in auto parts. Linda's mother was living with them. They moved to Beach Haven, New Jersey by 1930 where Harry was the superintendent of public works. Linda was living at the Pine Haven Nursing Home when she died in April 1969. She was 96. She was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Philadelphia on May 1, 1969.
