ROCK FALLS - Services for Richard L. Mangan, 89, 2002 Canal St., who died Tuesday morning in his home, will be at 2 p.m. today in Melvin-Schilling Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Memorial Park.
Mr. Mangan, a self-employed painter and decorator, was an organizer of the Babe Ruth Baseball League in Sterling.
Survivors include his wife, Gwen; two sons, Raymond, Como, and Ralph, DeKalb; three daughters, Irene Smedley, Brainard, Minn., Gladys Burns, Port Byron, and Helen Overton, Sterling; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
