Mrs. Eula Vee Gaddy, age 59, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, of Trinity, passed away to her heavenly home on March 24, 2011, while surrounded by her family.

Born February 8, 1952, in Aynor, SC, she was the daughter of the late Theoudes Mayberry Martin and the late Elsie Mae Jordan Martin. She was employed with IOA in Thomasville and was of the Baptist faith. Eula loved tending to her chickens, and hunting and fishing with her husband, Robert "Bob" Gaddy, whom she married on December 20, 2007.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two children, Edwin L. Hardee, Jr. and wife, Julie, of Archdale, and Terri Carpenter and husband, Michael, of Thomasville; two stepchildren, Sandi Walden and husband, Glenn, of Lincolnton, and Randy Gaddy, of Greensboro; five grandchildren, Christopher D. Mullis, Jordan M. Hardee, Daniel Carpenter, Dustin Carpenter and Kelly Bailey; a great grandson, Hunter Bailey; eight step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Judy Faircloth and husband, Johnny, and Shirley Martin; and three brothers, Benny Martin and wife, Deborah, Sammy Martin and wife, Phyllis, and Jamie Martin and wife, Sonya.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale officiated by Rev. Rodney Otwell. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
