ROBERT "BOB" EARL UFLAND died in his sleep. He grew up in Rudyard, MI, was a WWII veteran who served as a medic in the Seventh Infantry and worked for 25 years for the U.S. Postal Service in Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Edith, who died in January 2000. Surviving are sisters, Marian (Cleve) Andre and Judy Groseclose; children, Carol (Bill) Torpey, Carla (Phil) Rosso, Bob (RG) Ufland and Machelle Crane, Glen and Robin Raney-Ufland, Ken McIntosh and Beth (Darrell) Hempton; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Arrangements by McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. His remains will be scattered by family on the Pine River, Sault Ste Marie, MI. Published in the Orlando Sentinel on March 8, 2012
