Founded a sucessful business as a shoemaker . He also helped his siblings and their kin as they arrived from Germany.
Married Sarah Fitzpatrick and started a family . By 1869 he lost Sarah and 3 of their 5 children.

Anton's marker stone is badly faded and worn . Impossible to read . Sadly the section were his wife Sarah (Otto) Gluckler and her family are buried whatever headstones are gone .
